Cable modem
Whew, after a few hours of battle, I've finally setup
Coyote Linux on one of my old Compaq 133s and now have a cable modem connection shared amongst the 7 or so computers in my apartment. Woohoo!! Speed is back and blazing. Now I get to go throw and configure all my server type stuff. Of course, the first one to get configured was my webcam. I added the port forwarding to Coyote, started up webcamXP and started broadcasting live streaming video :) So,
tune in, it'll be up until my ip connects or I have the need to turn it off. hehe :)
