carabiner cup to hook to my backpack while I’m wondering the playa, a
bottle of biodegradable Dr Bronner’s soap, and my very own Ti Spork!
Still waiting on my life giving Camelbak which will be so much nicer
than a stillsuit.

waiting for me wheni got home. Two 10ft pieces of EL Wire for Burning
Man. I should have gotten 100 more feet to play with. 🙂 Bunki loves
it and couldn’t stop attacking it when I unrolled it.
My new mp3 player for bringing some music to the playa when I need to
escape the madness. 512mb for $30 and it weighs nothing. A cheap
refurb I won’t mind losing or destroying should something happen to it.
Also got my new duffel bag complete with wheels, handle to roll with and
stealth backpack straps for strapping it on while I’m running across
O’Hare trying to catch my flight. The large size should come in handy
when I have to pack for 2 weeks! Snagged this on sale for about $40
before they ran out. Big ++ on both. Only 16 days before I fly out!
So I snagged my nighttime goggle while in san fran. My daytime goggles
for burning man arrived today. Thanks to chu for pointing me to them.
Amber, Blue, and Smoke lenses to boot, all for under $30. Thanks Mach 1

Woohoo! Got my official ticket today! Can’t wait to go dance in
flames, make fire explode with the wave of a hand, enjoy the company of
others, and take lots of pictures. 🙂
The surplus store (Kaplan’s) that we stopped by on Market St knew just
what we were looking for. Cheap goggles, and a perfect “blank slate”
for modification with some elwire, leds, and who knows what. Plus they
were only $2.99. Score!
