go figure...

I had completely forgotten about a pic I had put up at hotornot.com a long time ago, and was reminded today. Apparently someone is doing some fuzzy math over there.

Turntables spinning

Whew, after one hell of a long search, I finally uncovered the power adaptor for my mixer. The little son of a bitch was hiding in my box of old computer hardware that was meant to go into storage. It's a good thing I found it now and not after I moved to Columbus. :P Anyways, the turntables got hauled up from the basement (34 steps :P) along with the heavy ass box of records. And now U2's Joshua Tree is playing. Such a good album, and I'm not even a big U2 fan. I've got all sorts of new records to check out thanks to Record Exchange. Alright, well I'm off to talk to the kids in #thecrib. peace..

Bored..

So what does one do when one doesn't have a job, doesn't have school, and is just killing time before moving? I'm so bored. I'm here all by myself for a week at Dad's house. Him and JM are off on a business trip across the country in Utah. So I'm dog/cat-sitting. And spending too much time on the computer cause I have nothing else to do. Hopefully Anthony is coming into town this weekend. Anyways, Britni leaves for Myrtle Beach today too. And yesterday was her mom's bday. On the 27th I get to go whitewater rafting and all sorts of good outdoors stuff with Britni's family, but no Britni. :( But then hopefully very soon after that I will move to Columbus :) The application went out in the mail today, and they say that there's an apt there for me! woohoo!! Now, time for a job. I have my resume in for a job at Denison that I really really want. It's one of the Support Technicians working with the faculty and admin computers. It's stuff that I know so well, and basically have been doing for Denison the past three years already. So everyone keep your fingers crossed. :) Life would be so perfect if I got the job at Denison and finally got into my apartment. Anyways, I'm off to find other distractions, like the fresh install of Linux on my other system with full TV tuner support.. :)

I hate my stomach..

I hate my digestive system. It sucks. There's something terribly wrong with it. I ate a few hours ago, and now it wants to be giving me pain. :P Shut up down there! You're fine. If I eat anything, you'll just feel worse! Bleah..

I'm speechless...

From MSNBC:
House OKs life sentences for hackers
But time may run out for computer crime bill in Senate

WASHINGTON, July 15 — The House of Representatives voted overwhelmingly Monday to create a new punishment of life imprisonment for malicious computer hackers. By a 385-3 vote, the House approved a computer crime bill that also expands police ability to conduct Internet or telephone eavesdropping without first obtaining a court order.
